Sanket Oak

Although Sanket Sir graduated in commerce from the University of Mumbai, his love for acting and theater prompted him to pursue post-graduation in theater. He did Masters with distinction at the Academy of Theater Arts, University of Mumbai, under the tutelage of Prof. Waman Kendre. He did the extra-curricular Theater Diploma from the University of Mumbai. He has also participated in workshops conducted by the National School of Drama as well as the ‘Search by Performer’ workshop conducted by the Doyen of Theater, Vijaya Mehta. Further, he has gained extensive training in Acting and Theater from noted personalities like Vijay Kenkre, Shafaat Khan, Purushottam Berde, Suhas Joshi, Himani Shivpuri, Govind Namdev, Ranjit Kapoor and many others. Sanket Sir has acted in over 55 commercial and experimental plays, most noteworthy among which are – Court Marshall, Shaakuntal, Sakharam Binder, Dhyani Mani, Chhoo Mantar, Jis Lahore Nahi Dekhya, Kalachakra, Lok Kay Mhantil, Man+Woman=Drama, Sadu Saduchi Bayko…., Madhlya Bhinti, Ghotbhar Pani, Tich Ti Diwali, 26×11 High Alert, Katha, Popat Harawleli Manse, Sara Itihas, Host, Greatest Soverian and others. He has worked in Operation Jatayu with Ajay Purkar which was directed by Digpal Lanjekar.

He has played the role of H. R. Mahajani in the movie “Yashvatrao Chavhan” directed by Dr. Jabbar Patel. Sanket’s play “Priya Bawari” has been listed in the India Book of Records for Inaugural Show in most languages (Same Team). He has won the ‘Best Actor’ & ‘Best Director’ award at many drama competitions like INT, Alpesh Mane Karandak, Rotract State Level One Act Competition, Chhatraikya Samaj (Dadar), Amrutkumbh (Parel), Umbartha (Dadar-Matunga), Youth Fest (Univ of Mumbai), etc. He has won the Best Director award thrice at the National Drama Fest organized by the Theater Movement, Cuttack, Odisha. He has to his credit the ‘Best Actor’ and ‘Best Director’ awards at the Maharashtra State Drama Competitions. He has directed the National Opera ‘Sutradhar Yogeshwar’ and ‘Geetramayan Mahanatya’. Sanket has been awarded the ‘Adarsh Dombivlikar’ title for his contribution in the field of Childrens’ Theater Movement. He has won the Rotary Club’s Vocational Excellence award. He has been honored by the Navnirman Nagar Ratna award. He has led for two years the Dombivli chapter of the Akhil Bharatiya Natya Praishad. He is the Executive Council Member of the Balrangabhoomi Abhiyan. Since 18 years, as a dedicated acting trainer , he has directed over 350 children’s plays out of which about 210 were produced by him. He has conducted over 300 workshops at various locations viz. Dadar, Thane, Parle, Dombivli, Vashi as well as Chiplun, Kudal (Sindhudurg), Odisha, Hyderabad, Belagavi, etc. Since last seven years, he is working as the Founder Director of ‘Vedh Acting Academy’. The academy has trained more than 1000 students, organized commercial shows and given a wide platform to young and adult students through BALRANGOTSAV and NATYA RANGOSTHAV.

He is working for Salam Bombay Foundation and TMC projects to train under-privileged children. He also has been appreciated as a Theater Trainer at noted institutes like Suhas Joshi’s Academy, Asmita Chitra, Shri Kala Sanskar, Act Academy as well as SNDT College, Mumbai and Pendharakar College, Dombivli.

Madhura Oak

Production Head

M.A in Marathi literature. For the last 15 years she has been working as a children drama trainer. She was working as a freelance journalist and worked with Maharashtra Times, Loksatta & Prahar. She is a graded artist of Drama Department, Aakashvani and hosted shows as a RJ in Akashvani F.M Gold. Has won awards as Best Writer in International Drama Festival and State Level Competitions. Has been awarded the Best Actress Silver Medal in Maharashtra State Government Drama Competition. Participated in Shravan Queen (Beauty Pageant) and honored by SMS Queen. She has written a fortnightly column in Maharashtra Times entitled ‘Balchata’ on how we can use theatre as a therapy for kids. She has been awarded as Adarsh Dombivlikar 2019, Vocational Excellence Award 2021.

Nilay Ghaisas

He has done many Marathi serials viz. Phulpakharu (Zee Yuva), Lakshya (Star Pravah), Hrudayat vaje something (Sony Marathi), Swarajya Janani Jijamata (Sony Marathi), etc, commercial ads like PNG Jewellers as well. Currently, he is playing the leading character in a Marathi commercial play Dhananjay Mane Ithech Rahtat. Has been working as a children drama trainer for the last 12 years. As a founder of Chitraphit production, he has produced and directed short films and was awarded as a best short film in Short Film Festival for his film ‘Najar’.

Chaitali Brahme

MBA in Marketing. She is a trained Bharatnatyam Dancer. Has worked as a drama teacher in a well known school. Has played the leading character in commercial play Dudhavarachi Say. She has been a faculty member of Vedh Acting Academy since 12 Years. She has directed 50 + plays in all these years . Also got recognition for same on various platforms.

Vrinda Dabholkar

She is an Indian Classical Music and Dance student. Earlier in 2022, she had published her first book on culinary pleasures of India in Marathi – ‘Padarthayan – from Vrunda’s Kitchen’. She is associated with the IPH NGO managed by Dr Anand Nadkarni. She has recently completed her diploma in ‘Kirtan’ and has worked as Creative Head for Pravah Bhaktirasacha on Pravah Pictures.

Aditi Haridas

BA Sociology and PG Diploma in Therapeutic Counseling. She is a professional yoga trainer. And Currently working as a Drama teacher in a well known International School. As a co-founder of Chitraphit production, she has written, produced 7 short films.

Advait Oak

Has been working as a photographer for the last 10 years. He has done event photography for Maharashtra Times and musical concerts as well. Currently he is training students from well known schools.

Prasad Berde

Has worked in various serials like Zindagi Not out, Tu Majha Sangati, Swarajya Janani Jijamata, Swarajya Saudamaini Tararani. He has acted in Marathi movie Dharmaveer and also acted in ads.
